Hands down the best nursery in the area. My girl absolutely loved going every session and sometimes didn’t even want to leave when I went to collect her. We were so sad our change in address and my change in job means we had to leave. Each and every staff member are amazing, they are kind, considerate, attentive, caring and they all absolutely love their job and love the children and spending time with them. If you’re looking for a safe, fun and homely environment for your child then this is the place. I honestly could go on for days about how amazing this place is. Becky and the team here are great. My eldest attended from 18 months to preschool and continued with holiday club. He had a severe allergy that was supported and catered for with no issues- a big win for us! We always felt he was safe and were never made to feel the allergy was an inconvenience. We were hugely supported with school pick ups, a big help for working parents. Our second child has just started here, a really smooth introduction, really caring towards his needs as he also has an allergy but again it was no issue for the nursery. The girls are a great help with the transition into nursery, they manage all the tears at the door and provide genuine comfort, meaning I know my boy is happy and safe. We have tried a lot of nurseries for our children as I am one of those picky, overbearing and precise annoying mums that wants the very best for the kids. First steps is the best nursery by far and the staff are amazing. Our son has come on leaps and bounds here with his personality shining through and it has helped him develop so many new skills. Our daughter also still attends holiday club here and loves it especially as she has friends from school here. Great nursery! We decided to send our son here because it felt warm, friendly and homely. He only goes 1 day a week which we were nervous about at first but he has settled in so well with the help of the staff and they are so caring towards him. He loves going every week and is so happy when we pick him up. The staff are really friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure our son is happy, settled and entertained. First Steps Nursery is absolutely fantastic. My daughter has grown in confidence, made friends and has learnt so much. She comes home singing and dancing. All the staff are friendly and supportive , always smiling :) I highly recommend this nursery 100% And one more ... the home made food is fantastic ***** my daughter is encouraged to try different food and eats well here.
